An old piece of mine from high school (oh god, this is over four years old now). The drawing is of Mihaly, which is an old variation of my self as back then I was known as Mihaly. Mihaly's symbols are the lion, the colors red and gold, and twisted vines. Submitted for the 100 Theme Challenge as nothing says Youth better than a symbolized self portrait of yourself from youth.
The original scan of this was ridiculously big so I scaled it down for DA. As you can probably tell parts of this were left unfinished. I got fed up with the whiskers back then, and now I just don't feel right continuing it as I am not the same person now. I feel changing it would be disrespectful to that self as if I were desecrating his resting place. I might completely redo this as a new piece later on with symbolism of my current self, but I just can't go back to this one.
